Break disc coating

Due to the new EURO 7 EU directives, new particulate matter emission standards for passenger car brakes are coming into effect. For this reason, the automotive industry (passenger cars and trucks) requires new coating systems, including finishing processes. This project involves laser cladding of brake discs. The advantages of laser-coated brake discs include corrosion- and abrasion-resistant surfaces, reduced particulate matter emissions, and a longer service life.
